Yes but those Brave Men and Women did not tap into their Animal Rage and unleash it onto a "Loyalist".
The Founders of this Nation even said that they could not support a Mindless Mob handing out Vigilante Justice in Kangaroo Courts or on the Streets,as an Honorable endeavor to get involved in.
The US was Treated Inhumanly by the British during Our Revolution, but They Chose to Keep the Fight between Governments,a Military lead by the Founders, not a Mob of Who's the Loudest or Strongest and can deal the Most Vengeance in Blood..
Even after the Terrible blood shed during the Civil War, Lincoln Ordered His Troops to Treat the South as Men,No Vengeance was to be dealt out.
He knew that once Vigilante Killings started where would it end.It would create a Wound that Might Never Heal.
Revenge killing for a revenge Killing for a Revenge Killing..It doesn't end.
In order to Establish Government or to Preserve a Republic a Discipline of Respect was to Be Maintained, even if the Enemy showed None..
We in this Nation continue this same Tradition today and have done so since Our Founding.
It's a Childish Brut that Lauds His Triumph over His Opponent, it's an Honorable Man than Knows He has Won and still can see through His anger that His Opponent is Still Human.
Police get Their Butts Kicked and still restrain Themselves once the Criminal is subdued.
Our Military has Faced Atrocities at the Hand of Our Enemies and We still have tried to maintain a sense of Civility towards Them.
And I do not need to be reminded about the FEW time in War that Our Military has strayed from this Idiom of Civility.
Once Their Barbarous acts were uncovered the Nation Punished Them for Those Acts of Barbarism, because Those Acts are not the Acts of a People that Herald Freedom to the World..
So In My Humble Opinion if Egypt is to Survive as a Democratic Form of Government, then a Civil Atmosphere must be maintain...
But what Do I know...
